A sign for “Plein air sculptures” caught my eye this morning on my way to Jardin des Plantes. It is a collection of outdoor sculptures, displayed on the banks of the Seine. It is a 600m long area on Quai Saint-Bernard. This scary character called Melmoth, look like he just escaped from a nightmare (on Elm street). He was stuck in some obscure corner next to, what looked like a storage area. Don’t want to scare the children, right?
In Jardin des Plantes is a beautiful exhibit of photos by Matthieu Paley. The caption on one of the photos mention a period of 40 000 years in French, but 50 000 years in the English translation. I was thinking maybe our President is French?!
The French really love their food, monument for pumpkins, really?
