Potter at work

Karin Combrink alias Kala, was born in Windhoek, Namibia. She lives and works in George in the scenic Garden Route of South Africa. She paints mainly street scenes, still life and figures.

Kala studied under Heleen van Assen, Martie le Roux, Dale Elliot, Ina Wilken and Colley Whisson. She is a graduate of Virtual Art Academy  and a founding member and Vice President of SCAVA (South Cape Association for Visual Arts), member of South African Association for Visual Art (SANAVA) and registered with Cape Craft and Design Institute.

Her works are held in private collections in United States, Norway and South Africa.
